The Gite

Dan arrived back mid April with the terrifying thought that a child (and what's more his child) was to arrive in 2 weeks. Spurred into action, Dan made and fixed the banisters and spindles:

built and plastered a wall:

built a cupboard and undertook several fiddly carpentry bits:

I was very impressed on my return!

La Maison

The dining room floor was concreted:

And so was the bathroom, of course, no sooner is it dry, there is more debris all over it from knocking out the doors into the bathroom upstairs:

And here are the new doorways upstairs going from the bedrooms into the bathroom:
